This app is provided for free by Cro , the West of Ireland Cardiac Foundation. HeartWise is a quick, simple and easy-to-use app designed to help you live a healthier life and reduce your chance of suffering from heart disease. HeartWise is designed to help you track how much exercise you do, how healthy what you eat is and also help you monitor your consumption of drink and cigarettes. It also has a heart age calculator to give you an idea what your person risk of heart disease might be. Features: -Diet Tracker: super quick and super simple to use, it takes just moments to input what you ve eaten and compares it to what is recommended. -Exercise Tracker: shows you what proportion of the recommended amount exercise you are meant to do each week and tracks what exercise you did and when you did it. -Smoking Tracker: allows you to see how much you have been smoking and how much this costs you, even including the yearly price of cigarettes based on how much you smoke each day. It also includes information on quitting. -Alcohol Tracker: simply select what drink you ve had and how much, and HeartWise will convert it to units for you and add them up so you can monitor how much you drink and compare it to the recommended maximum per day and per week. -Heart Age Calculator: tell HeartWise a bit about yourself and it will work out what age your heart is relative to your own. -Doctor Summary: HeartWise can also compile the information you put into it in a quick and easy summary which you can show to your doctor or GP should you wish to do so.
